Sounds like a sensible plan Louise, how long now until you go? 10 days This diet has made me appreciate food and not want to put rubbish into it. It's funny, as I thought sw was the more sensible diet but that often led me to binge. I will go back to sw as its easy for family life but exante has reset my mind:)

Weighed in at 11 stone so a 4lb loss I'm very happy with that especially after my meal out. This week is going to be tough as totm is due and today I'm meeting a friend who has post natal depression. she's doing lunch and I will eat it as its far more important to support her through this than an extra lb on the scales. My aim for this week is anything! I'll be happy to see the 10's again.

aw hun so proud of you!! you are doing well - i know what u mean about lunch, one option is to say touve eaten and maybe just have a black coffee whilst she eats and have an exante bar/cookie
but life happens so if you want to eat and you know you can get back on the waon - go for it!!

Thank you I had thought about that. I'll wait and see what she's done. She's very health conscious so I doubt it will be awful diet wise. Thankfully, a few of us are going so if I don't eat much/at all she won't notice.

Keep it very low carb if you can and I bet no damage will be done. Well done on the loss, that's great. I know what you mean about your mind set, I feel exactly the same way. I am 32 days in, I've had 2 meals in that time and I could have gone mad but didn't. I gave myself permission to have alcohol if I wanted it but I didn't bother. I can feel my brain readjusting all its ideas as I go along which will hopefully stand us in good stead when we do come off.

Fabulous loss Louise, well done.
I'll be low carbing on holiday too. VLCD are very good at demonstrating how awful we feel when eating unnecessary carbs not to mention the affect they have on our mood.
How did you get on at lunch today.x

Morning. Lunch on Thursday was fine and low carb but yesterday I ate my body weight in chocolate. Totm is due tomorrow so it's all related to that. I'm avoiding the scales as I feel really bloated and know that I have gained. It will all go but I'd rather not see a bad number. On plan today and the cravings seem to have disappeared Have a lovely weekend everyone. X
