So my first order has been sitting in my kitchen for a few days now and I still haven't started it yet. I seem to be waiting for that magical 'switch on' moment, when your brain says 'NOW'!!! I'm blaming the school holidays and having the kids at home but I'm probably just making excuses. Any words of wisdom would be welcome!

I think you just have to get your head down and get on with it. We can always find a reason not to do this, if it's not the kids off it will be something else. Go for it!!

Did you start - it can be daunting to start especially if that lightbulb moment is dim - perhaps introduce one sachet to your food today and two tomorrow etc until you have started...

Thanks for asking tulip. No I haven't started just yet. TOTM has just started so perhaps any day now. I don't want to waste money by eating the packs until I'm finally into it. I'll keep you posted!

So I started today. I had the coconut shake his morning and the breakfast eggs at lunchtime. The shake was nice and the eggs are going to be an acquired taste I suspect. I'll probably just get through the egg packs but not reorder.
I'm absolutely starving and can't decide what to have for dinner. I'm also struggling to choke down all the water but am persevering.

Thanks Shanny. I had a bar for dinner (not an exante one but a high-protein/low-carb one which was on offer from asda. It was okay. To be honest I prefer shakes but felt too hungry for one and am desperately trying to avoid the horrid constipation which I suffered terribly from on cambridge.

It's sore and painful isn't it constipation:( I take a powder fibre when I remember lol. What's on your menu for today then? I've woken up so hungry , currently drinking a coffee. X

I'm not sure. Probably a couple of shakes and the sausage mix. I'm desperate to try the pancakes but fear my daughter will want one!!!! So I'll leave them until she's not in!
Back on the water challenge. I managed 3l yesterday so will try for the same today.
What do you think you'll have today?

Just had the white chocolate and raspberry shake. It was okay. Not wild about it but I'd have it again.

Hi sweat and tears
I agree with you. Once the first week is out of the way it all seems to get a bit easier. How are you finding it so far?
Not sure what to have for lunch but I've just treated myself to a mini frying pan as I was worried my pancakes would stick to my other pan and I'd lose out on some of the mixture!!!! Just need to get my daughter out of the way now!!!!

I think I was definitely more motivated the first time around. 7 weeks I managed it before on Cambridge. 100% sole source then I couldn't cope with the constipation. This time, I've decided if it gets too bad then I'll stick to 2 products per day and a bran cereal for one meal with milk. I'm not too worried about staying in ketosis. If I can stay very-low-calories then that's half the battle for me.

I had an Atkins meal replacement bar for lunch (I really must order some exante bars!) and an exante banana shake for dinner. It was quite nice actually, very creamy so I 'ate' it was a spoon and imagined that it was melted ice cream!
