Walk to the gym and home, plus two classes, tomorrow it is dog walking day plus one gym class. I'm thinking of trying to get the wii working again, (balance board broken ?) and doing something on the days I don't have gym classes.

Worked out at gym for 1.5 to 2 hours every day last week. Took today off, except for a walk. Itching to get back to gym tomorrow.

Today's exercise was a long walk with daughter and grandchildren then 1 and 3/4 hours of gardening. Step total just over 11500 and calories used 1150 pleased with that. Going to make the dinner then veg in front of the telly because I am exhausted!

I am just back from a walk with my daughter, 9500 steps, 424 calories and just over an hour. I am finding that whether I do Zumba, Powerhoop, Salsafit or walk at a good pace I use up approximately 400 calories an hour.

Going to make the dinner then veg in front of the telly because I am exhausted! I read "veg in front of the telly" as you were making and eating veggies in front of the telly. Just for a second, I was imaging you with a plate of brocoli in one hand and a remote in the other. LOL!

Did two hours at the gym yesterday and it just flew by. Going into my 3rd week of gyming now and I notice a huge difference. I can lift more weight on the machines, and suddenly I am not dying to be done on the bicycle or treadmill, but wishing I had more time to stay on. Endomorphins in full swing, I'd say. Also, I don't watch TV, but I do read. But because the TVs at the gym have subtitles, I find I am engrossed in 'reading' TV. So now I am a TV person, a gym person, a fish person and no doubt other types of person I never was before. But most of all, a less chubby healthier person. I am within 3 1/2 lbs of a healthy BMI. That's a long 46 lb slow victory approaching for me.

Wow well done Pandora. I actually don't watch TV much as I too am a reader and I find TV boring. The only thing I watch is Game of Thrones and Wimledon when it is on. Hooked on Wimbledon.
