Being kind to yourself... what does that mean?
It means as i said above being your own best friend.
Silencing the inner voice that does not serve any purpose other than to cause harm.
We have thousands of thoughts a day and there is a saying
"If you propose to speak, always ask yourself, is it true, is it necessary, is it kind?β
We need to turn this into ourselves, that inner voice does not define you. You are your voice, you control yourself. Those thoughts will always come. However with a little self work they will whisper rather than scream and you will see them as nothing more than passing thoughts that no longer consume you.
Being kinder to yourself allows this sense of strenght to blossom. You embrace the good while accepting the bad.
Small changes make a big impact... good luck today ladies

Managed yoga and foot massage 3 times last week. One big improvement is eating breakfast and lunch at work everyday. Now that's a record x

Forgot I was part of this! Here I am. Real food in moderate quantities, HFLC. My plan these days is to nourish and nurture ME, and to give myself credit where credit is due. I take time to enjoy my day and lavish love on my kitties!
Weight lost recently - 7.25lb.
Feeling good. Working hard on the food, trying for more quality sleep. Priority now - leg strengthening and toning exercises. I need to dance, too, as this helps to tone the whole body. Get up and boogie! xx

Well done on the loss SS, enjoy your dance, I used to love dancing, perhaps I will take a leaf from your book..in the comfort of my own home though! Haha I am sitting in the garden, enjoying the fresh air, setting sun (it was pretty warm here today) the temp is more comfortable now though) being kind to myself by just switching off from demands and congratulating myself for restarting the healthy eating plan. The midges will be here soon, so this may be a very swift evening visit in the garden

I put fave music on youtube and boogie. Not every day although I should. I get breathless in no time now. Haven't danced in public for years! But I hope to, ere long.
Surprisingly two of my three scales say that I am, this evening, 12st exactly. So a loss of 9lb. I'm not complaining! Wonder if I'll be lighter in the morning? Not going to check just in case. I can't wait to get back to the 11s and that should happen this week. Next 'elevens' check will be Monday xx

Ah well done Pauline - a 9'lb loss is great and hope you see the 11s very soon 3 sets of scales eh? One I've had for years. The second I bought to compare results, but it's unreliable. The third I bought at Christmas not knowing that it doesn't measure Imperial weights. It's not the easiest scale to use as it's flaky and only the very first reading can be taken as 'accurate'. Second, third and fourth readings go up and up! No wonder the original owner flogged it to me on eBay xx

Day 19 of the challenge...
Why is grounding yourself is important?
As some of you may remember, i went awol last year.. i had taken on too much and my head was spinning. I forgot who i was for a moment. Instead of getting everything done, i got nothing done and i lost myself in the middle of it all.
We as women multitask, we take of so much and the majority of us are caregivers too. However who takes care of the caregiver?
If you keep giving of yourself you will have nothing left to give. Take care of yourself first, take stock of how you are feeling and be aware that you need to do a personal MOT every now and again to keep yer motor running..
When you feel like you are losing yourself in the midst of things, step back, take a breath and remember you are only human.
Take good care of yourself, body and especially mind and the rest will follow. Have a good day ladies x
