I've done my 30 mins on the cross trainer. 4,000 and odd steps. Steve it's good that you're resting it, it's for the best then you can get back to it once it's all healed up

Tuesday I walked just over 5000 steps.
I walked to the post office to send a card to NZ but forgot to put the dollars in the card so walked back home again.
Had breakfast then walked back again and on to the cafe & home again. Did a little gardening too. Decluttered to drawers - not sitting down . All in all a successful day.

Well done Doreen, sounds like a good day to me and decluttering is always a job well done at any point! I like to get something to eat then work it off, I generally go for my walk after lunch as it's my biggest meal of the day. Good luck for today's total!

No walk today as I did some gardening. Cut the grass and cleared the weeks then swept. Could have put counter on but forgot.
I have since been sorting out the christmas cards I have sewn to make sure they are all ready. Some are not yet just a couple to finish putting together.

I have walked 1/2 an hour today. It gets easier the more I do it. Will have to start doing a detour on the way to the cafe. Forget step counter again.

You're all doing well with your walking/exercise - maybe Steve toooo well - hope that heals soon.
We've had our 12 month old granddaughter with us all week to give DiL a break - the baby's had hand, foot and mouth disease - it's been full on - so I cdn't get out. Normal execise will be resumed this week - but have to say feel as if I've used up a lot of cals! xx

Well done Doreen - it's hard when we don't feel like it - hopefully you were chuffed with yourself afterwards?
I've walked for about half an hour today - need to go more regularly! xx

I'm definitely going to do my 5,000 today - have already done over 1,000 out shopping but that doesn't really count towards the full tally. I will be reporting back later.

Well done Lisa - as long as we keep moving - we'll get there in the end but I for one will never get to county level never mind the Olympics xx
