I walked 30 minutes today and my little band says 4830 steps for the day. I do the roughly the same amount in 30 mins too Doreen. Depends how quickly I walk of course but I usually stick to moderate as going too fast completely zonks me and hurts my feet, until I get more used to it! I've started to start off steady, speed up in the middle then steady it off again at the end. I'll see what that accomplishes. I've only done the walking round the supermarket today as my walking as was too tired when I got home. But my pedometer says it's 4,340 steps anyway so I've still got my amount in more or less.

You lot are doing really well keep up the good work I think the secret is to do enough to make a difference but not enough to scunner yourself

You lot are doing really well keep up the good work I think the secret is to do enough to make a difference but not enough to scunner yourself Thanks Steve, we're trying our best and we'll get there in the end! I think it's best to do things so you don't over-do it. That's been my trouble for too long, I over-do it all and burn myself out. Now I'm pacing it out a bit more I'm enjoying it and getting more done in the long run

Yes we're all doing well - loving the 'scunner' word! I've been overkeen & overdone exercise stuff in the past then stopped very soon afterwards! Hopefully learnt my lesson now

I keep forgetting to put my band on. Shame really as I went into Enfield today and always park quite a way from the shops. Apart from a quick coffee and a chat to a guy I was walking for an hour. That would have given me some steps. Slow but still walked.

Only managed 15 minutes today as legs are absolutely killing me. Was about 2,450 steps I think.
But did other exercise to make up for it
