21 day challenge starts tomorrow ladies. Remember, no guilts no sorries on this thread. These things you pick are to make you happy, make you calm not be just "another thing you cant stick to" and cause stress.
As upndown will tell you, my favourite saying here is "be mindful" be that with the food that goes into your mouth, negative thoughts or anything else that you do in your day.
Going for a walk, be mindful, put away the phone or music and take in the surroundings, being in nature or at the water has a naturally calming effect.
Eating, be mindful, at least one meal a day turn off the tv and just take in the tastes and tectures of the meal
Getting dressed, be mindful, look at your shape, are you apple, pear, hourglass? Dress for your shape, google it if you have to. You need to put clothes on that make you feel good.
Do something everyday that makes you feel pretty/se*xy/beautiful.
So yeah you get the idea.
Try your best to be kind to yourselves ladies.

Great & positive statements there Rosie - think lots of us get our knickers in a twist with this dieting lark (but perhaps not Steve?) So here's hoping everyone who's joined this challenge - keeps it up - but NO recriminations if we don't x Yup.. smacked bottoms for anyone who trys to recriminate themselves haha.. unless you like getting a smacked bottom... another suitable chastisement will have to be imagined haha

...well I did think at the start of that post that a certain Scot (clue - not Rosie or Patsy) might have enjoyed your punishment but you realised that too - so answers on a postcard please girls ........ Good luck everyone - it sounds easy to be kind to ourselves but don't think many of us are most of the time

So...... I'm going to........ drink some water every day cut back a little on my coffee and tea drinking eat a veggie every day take a walk every day (unless the weather is foul) keeping it simple

I found it surprisingly hard to come up with my challenges maybe Linda is right in saying we aren't very good at being kind to ourselves. Mine are going to be Write down 3 things I'm grateful for each day. Say something nice to myself each time I see myself in the mirror. Practice balancing any negative things I think or say with a positive.

Good luck everyone this challenge is a very good one for us to do as I know some of us have been feeling a bit down recently or had a few problems going on in our lives. If I think of any other little ways to be kind to myself as I go along I will do them along with my challenges.

Loving the challenges so far girls! I'm struggling for mine because as you all know - I have to drink a ridiculous amount of water and I'm addicted to exercise anyway lol.
1. Make sure I drink at least 3l of water a day - no exceptions (I've been a bit bad the last few days) 2. Keep at parkrun - it felt really good to go back this week. 3. To eliminate 'stuff it' mode. 4. To make sure my to do list is done ready for the school holidays to reduce stress. (4b. Write that to do list 😂) 5. No scale hopping. I reserve the right to come back and edit this lol.
