Small things are fiddly to sew up but it's not very often I make them. I don't do Halloween think it's another thing that has got to commercialised but these are for a school craft fair that they do every year and for a few pence the kids love them. :-)

Geez I haven't picked up my needles in months but with the colder weather on it's way, I'm having delusional visions of knitting myself a winter wardrobe!

Here is one of the Pom Pom spiders I made. I just make things to keep myself occupied. Being retired and on my own it passes the day and doesn't cost much to do. They are going to a school near me in Cornwall for their craft fair.

Handmade toys need CE marking for safety if your going to sell them. The exception is Christmas/novelty products. So you have to becareful. Also you have to reg with HMRC if your selling anything you make.
I don't think it would be worth my while selling as I don't make that many and it's getting yourself out there for others to see what you sell.

Any recommendations on a really nice quality dk baby yarn, as tried to knit something with a ball from Aldi and the threads were splitting and it felt nylony?
We have no good wool shops local, so other than going to a John Lewis, will have to order online.

I've been told Poundland and Poundstretchers wool is suppose to be good as well.
