What about knitting a blanket for it's crib. I couldn't possibly imagine how long that would take me!...lol Go for a patchwork - it's just one square at a time and it builds up quickly. I am a very slow knitter but I managed enough squares for a metre square blanket in about 3 weeks just knitting in the evenings x

I knit arans, usually for toddlers ('cos they're small, and don't take so long) to keep my mind off of eating - then I have to find a toddler to fit into it:)

Not been around much as I had to get some Prem things finished and sent off. Now on to my next lot.

I haven't picked up my needles in ages - just lost my mojo for a while! Might crack on this weekend while watching Harry Potter!

That's gorgeous! I'm looking forward to having a little baby to knit for in the future. Small projects that I might actually finish! X

I have just finished my 4th pair of short socks for my husband. I knit all his socks, but just lately they are all wearing out at the same time. Usually, its the sole which goes thin and I can refoot them, but there's only so often you can do that before the body of the socks gets thin. Anyway, when I finish the next pair I'm going to have a go at a Christmas card in cross stitch

Now don't anyone laugh, but I firmly believe in 'the second sock syndrome' The first sock knits like a dream but everything goes wrong with the second. So, I knit 2 socks at the same time... simples
Also, I believe in 'unlucky balls of wool. You always get one don't you? You make mistakes, it gets tangled etc etc. I don't get this trouble when I'm crocheting!

I think that is every ball of wool I have ever tried to knit with!
