FRENCH ONION RISOTTO - another from the Chubby Cubs (ignore any vulgarities in their write-ups. I do!!). twochubbycubs.com/2016/09/06/french-onion-risotto/I haven't tried it yet but it sounds nice. I've fitted it into the 10 ingredient rule by not counting Frylight, salt and pepper in with the ingredients!

Here's a quick and easy pasta sauce recipe - best I've ever tasted at home - I added some Worcester sauce mmmm.....
Serves 4 portions - can be syn free if you use frylight, pass on the wine and use sweetener - so fill your boots
1.5 tbsp olive oil - you can use frylight or a mix of oil/water 2 garlic cloves, crushed 2 x 400g cans chopped tomato 125ml red wine (optional) - I didn't use wine 3 tbsp caster sugar - or sweetener (but use less) 1/4 of a large bunch flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped few basil leaves (optional)
Heat the frylight/oil in a large pan. Add the garlic and sizzle for 1 min. Stir in the tomatoes, wine if using, add the sweetener or sugar, parsley and seasoning. Simmer for 15-20 mins until slightly thickened. Stir in the basil leaves. Freezes well.

LIVER AND BACON WITH ONION GRAVY - Serves 4 Approx. 1 Syn per serving, if using 1 level tbsp. flour, Frylight instead of oil and reduced salt + sugar tomato ketchup www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/2040637/liver-and-bacon-with-onion-gravyThe flour works out at 3.5 Syns for 1 level tbsp. and the ketchup at 1 Syn for 2 level tbsp. I really like this recipe, with lots of mashed potato and a green veg.

Nice one Kathy. I will be batch cooking beef casserole, but I have some drumsticks - don`t really like them roasted - so I could use them up in this one, nice and simple. Like the idea of mustard. Thanks.
