Hey can I join? I have a target of 16lbs in September and my offical weigh in is a Monday? I've lost 2.6lb since Thursday so 13.4lb to lose! Welcome to our little band Joan. Doreen - just noticed you've changed your footnote - I think you shd celebrate your amazing losses - a loss is a loss whenever it came off esp when it's stayed off so long - not many of us have such a consistent weight loss record - esp me as you know by my username! xx

I took advice on that Linda . I have slowly lost that weight over the years and it helps me to not feel so bad if I have a gain. It has took a long time however up and down I go I have never put on loads and not got it off again. A lot of the time it is much like maintaining which is fine by me. I will start losing again very soon. Looks ok though does it not?

It's a really sustainable and safe way to lose weight - we all know the story of the hare and the tortoise I think it's good to maintain along the journey - cos at the end of the day - this is a lifelong thing & doing it that way - when you get to target - it won't be a shock to your system - as I well know with all my upndowning!! Yes - I've heard Slimming World consultants say that 2lb of fat = a bag of sugar and who wdn't like one of those off the part of our body we like the least?? Good luck xx
