Allo, will be starting this challenge on Monday. Currently sat on the Eurostar France side on way home from Disneyland where I ate a LOT of naughty food hehe so will be getting the start weight for this month tomorrow morning. Dread to see where I will be starting from hehe. It can be pretty scary can`t it. Hopefully it won`t be too bad. Hope you had a nice time. Goodluck.

Back homenow and it surprised me stepping on scales this morning. I put on a big 4.8lb over Easter (had an unofficial weigh before we went to Disneyland Paris) weighed just now and despite a lot of binging I lost 0.2lb.
So total gain for Easter alone was only 4.6lb. Not bad at all really!
Back on it from Monday as still some Easter bits to scoff hehe
At least I have my start weight for this challenge now.

My grandchildren burst out laughing when they saw it. Mind you - so did I and my son and daughter in law. They have both put on weight so I told them to be careful

It's awful when you see a photo of yourself like that and at the time you didn't even realise you were so big. I've done that once and I intend never to do it again. I've thrown out all of my old fatty photos, I can't bear them. Well done on your accomplishment Doreen, it is certainly not easy as we all know.

(FRIDAY) Well done on your loss - glad you sound positive (sort of!) but it'd be hypocritical of me to say celebrate the loss blah, blah - cos I'm always wanting more myself (food and losses that is!) I've just looked up my weight loss record - I've lost most of my weight by losing small amounts:
0.5lb x 3 times 1lb x 8 times 1.5lb x 5 Other weeks I gained 3 times, maintained once and only lost more than 1.5lbs x 5 times and three of those times were the week after a gain!
Here's a little poem which I like cos it's so true:
Hello, do you know me? If you don't, you should. I'm a pound of fat, And I'm the HAPPIEST pound of fat that you would ever want to meet. Want to know why? It's because no one ever wants to lose me; I'm ONLY ONE POUND, just a pound! Everyone wants to lose three pounds, five pounds, or six pounds, but never only one. So I just stick around and happily keep you fat. Then I add to myself, ever so slyly, so that you never seem to notice it.
