Hi Cake (wish I didn't like your name so much!), I am eating because: 1. I've been on VLCD a long time, and am a bit tired of it. 2. I'm missing out eating with the family, so when they ask (and they always do) I'm finding it a lot harder to say 'no'. 3. I'm a greedy git, with a history of not being able to control my food urges, so sometimes they're just too strong. Sad to say, I've not been able to stick to the diet again this week, but I've not given up hope of getting back on for the next two weeks before holidays. Good luck to you for this week! Aargh VLCD fatigue.......yes I'm with you...I perv over other people's lunches at work and hope they don't notice the drool....

Please remember that when you start refeeding, it starts to refill your glycogen stores so you will see a small gain but it'll level off if you keep with it.

Thanks Cake and good point, Caz. Worth remembering, although I must not confuse 'refeeding' with 'stuffing my big fat face'

Are you still there Scanbran ? Nearly Went off the rails after the hols, so haven't been back on here since! I've put on 8lbs in a month - pretty good going, eh? Trying to get back on it all this week, and something always crops up (usually naked greed) to ruin it. Anyway, just had a 'delicious' lemon and raspberry shake - hope everyone else is doing well

It is difficult though to feel deprived when everyone else is eating "normal" food but you just have to work out if the benefits of losing weight outweigh the sacrifice....if they don't then you need to think about whether it's good for you emotionally to keep putting yourself through it.....I'm exceptionally good at putting on huge amounts of weight in tiny timeframes but that is what the good Lord created leggings for....amen....

Another month without progress....getting back on after a holiday is really difficult. I knew it would be, but this didn't help me actually do it! Well, I'm scared to weigh myself in case I've ballooned even further, but on the plus side, I had my first 100% TS day for ages yesterday, and I'm on course today as well, so if I string a few more of these together, I can safely say I'm back on the plan. I've a weekend away in just over five weeks time, so I want to be able to stick to TS 100% until then (should be good for a stone or thereabouts ).

Good luck getting back on it scanbran, you can do it! A stone in 5 weeks is very doable.

Good luck getting back on it. I struggled too to restart but once the magical switch comes on then you are okay. It's just waiting for that switch on. Grrr!
