will hoop for around 40 mins in total tody, also starting a level 10 fitnes challenge today, first session is a lot of fitness tests (absolutely dreading it!)

Did another hour today in the gym - 10 mins cardio, the rest was upper body! I may have made a pollock of myself at the weights rack but I don't care, I did it!

Good for you Rusty. I did not go to the gym today as I am very tired. I have had a bit of upset due to my mum and her nasty tongue. She was slagging me off to my brother because I had not been to see her. The problem being I had been to see her and had phoned her everyday but she had forgotten that, her memory is going. What made it worse is she said all the nasty things on the phone and her gossipy neighbour was with her at the time so heard everything. I know I should not worry about what her neighbour thinks but I do and it has made me very upset. Mum is now in hospital and after my brother tore a strip off her for what she was saying she has been all sweetness and light to me and does not want her little outburst to come between us. She has not apologised to me but I usually go to her house and do all her housework, shopping, changing beds and taking her anywhere she wants to go. I am so hurt and will take time to get over it. She is my step mother and has never been very good to me but I have certainly been a good daughter to her and certainly do not deserve what she said. Sorry I am pouring this all out on here but maybe if I can get it off my chest I will be able to move on! x

A little different set of gym classes this week, due to the start of the holiday season. Bums and Tums Circuits - Tuesdays. This has been a little different every week, but keeps it interesting. This week we were moving around the sports hall doing various exercises - lunges, squats, planks, steps, etc a couple with the Swiss balls (I fell off trying to do the crunches ). We went round doing each exercise for 1 minute, then 45 seconds, then 30 seconds. Body Blast. - Wednesday. We used to do Group Kick at this time, but this week was more like a mix of some of the boxing moves plus some bums and tums abs and leg exercises. Yoga - Thursday. Normally do Piloxing on a Thursday but this week there was a yoga class instead. Yoga will also replace the piloxing in August. Group kick and Group Groove this morning, ( the groove is replacing a Zumba class, it is very similar) Centergy tomorrow, (this is a lot of yoga moves, stretches and balances) Now I have reached my WW goal weight I have synced my fitbit to myfitnesspal and will be tracking exercise with that rather than adding activity points (which I never used anyway) I will see after this morning how myfitnesspal pal differs from the WW app for tracking exercise.

Yesterday I did 2.5 mile run. Today I am doing a 6 mile run. Im preparing for a 10K I have in 2 weeks. The first 5K is mostly uphill, but what goes up must come down so the second 5K Im looking forward to and its in a forest so the views are amazing.
Sorry to hear about your mum mere. Hope things improve.

I had a week away, so no gym classes the week before last - plenty of walking instead. Half a week of gym classes last week, then back to normal this week - apart from the fact that the gym timetables are different because of holidays.
So tonight Bums & Tums Circuits (last week we were haring around the sports hall picking up playing cards) Tomorrow Body Blast (still not sure what to expect with this one as it has been different every week) Thursday Yoga Saturday Group Kick and Group Groove No class Sunday.
I am finding the fitbit/myfitnesspal link much better than the activity points that I was getting using the WW app
I am wondering whether to treat myself to a yoga mat so I can do some exercises at home on the non-gym days (the abs exercises and bums & tums exercises mainly)
I've finally settled on adding a little bit of a sports drink to water and am drinking a bottle of that during most of my exercise sessions - which is good as I wasn't drinking enough water.

The air conditioning wasn't working at the gym on Saturday, so I was a little hotter than normal. It wasn't working on Thursday either but that wasn't as bad as I was doing yoga that time. We had a small change on Saturday and did an aerobics class instead of the Groove/Zumba. I found it quite difficult to keep up as it was not what I was used to. I suppose we do need to try new things, as doing the same thing all the time gets boring. The instructor suggested we look for a basic/beginners aerobics class if we were interested in trying it again. I also fancy trying a steps class if I can find one at a convenient time. My gym membership covers several gyms in nearby towns, I normally use two of them. The last yoga class is this week, as this was only replacing the normal class during holidays. I would like to do more yoga but the classes at my gym are all during the times that I am at work. Circuits tonight. Lately these have been lots of exercises (squats, lunges, planks etc) but not a lot of moving around so I've not been recording as many steps on my fitbit. I've not had the fitbit long (almost six months) but am already wondering whether to upgrade to one that also records my heart rate. And also possibly find another way to record these exercises so I can keep a track of how I'm progressing with them (I'm sure I can do more than I could have done before I started exercising seriously) I also could do with getting my wii fit board mended as I used to enjoy doing some of the things on there (steps and sword fighting mainly )

So I did my last yoga class this week - back to normal next week. Hopefully the air conditioning will have been fixed by then. Did two classes this morning, I also did an extra step class yesterday which I enjoyed, it was not quite as active as some of the classes that I do but was plenty of exercise and also incorporated some exercise with weights.
No gym now until the circuits (bums and tums) on Tuesday although I will be dog walking tomorrow.
It has actually been quite a good week, according to my fitbit I am probably going to reach the target of 70,000 steps in the week.

For the second week running I am going to pass 70,000 steps in the week. This is partly due to the fact that last week I added an extra steps class to the gym routine - this was a temporary class that I could go to as a one off, to see if I would like to continue. However, although I enjoyed the class, ( and there were certainly plenty of steps ) it was a very basic class, and I feel that I should be looking for something a little more advanced. Unfortunately my gym does not have such a class at a time that is convenient for me.
The second reason that my step count is higher again is the fact that the yoga class has finished and I am back now to the normal class which involves a lot of movement.
i have managed to get the wii fit and balance board sorted now, so I can use that for more exercises on non gym days. The only steps game I have is just stepping on and off the board, so I don't think that is what I am looking for either. The other thing is that the board is very low compared to the steps we were using in the class.
I am looking at getting some small hand weights to improve my home workouts.
The circuits class this week was different again, and involved a lot more moving around. This was more enjoyable than the normal 45 minutes of sit ups, squats and static exercises.
After a year of gym classes I am wondering if I should review them anyway and freshen up the combination of classes, rather than carrying on doing the same things over and over.
