Did an hour at the gym - not the best hour I would say but definitely glad I did it!

Did a kettlebells class tonight. Was lovely to be in the air conditioned gym after a day in a stuffy office followed by getting into my oven of a car.

Circuits today, there were only two of us this week so it was like having a personal training session. We did planks, scissor kicks, steps, starfish sit ups and some others I can't remember at the moment. We did them for a minute each and counted and recorded how many. Then did the same ones again for 45 seconds then 30 seconds each. Not a lot of steps recorded on my fitbit, but I know I was working hard. Now I'm going home for salad for my tea. I have some cooked chicken to go with it, I might add some feta cheese as well. And possibly have an orange after.

Gym class was slightly shorter than normal, which was probably a good thing because of the heat.
Chicken and salad again for tea I think. If I had room in the freezer I would get some little yogurts and freeze them.

Went for an unplanned run this morning. Its been a long time since I got up that early just to go for a run. I forgot how good it felt. I couldn't sleep due to the heat and humidiness of the night and early morning. My hair needed washing so I thought I might as well make the most of being awake early and get really hot and sweaty before getting in the shower. It was only 2.7 miles, but its 2.7 miles further than I was planning to go.

I didn't think (and still not 100% certain even though Ive had no pain for a while) Id be able to run again. Dont think Id be able to do much more than 10K.
