Holidays "do" for me. We were not going to have a Winter away this year so went on All Inclusive 5 day hols in UK during the end of Nov and December. 5 days in Newquay - 5 in Plymouth then the same at Christmas Markets in Germany. We went to Spain on 22nd Dec to the same there then to our apartment until Mid Feb. 1 stone Gain. That is why I am back calorie counting again. I paid for it so I am going to eat and drink it - never going to do that again. Changed our minds and are on our Winter Sun Holiday for 3 months and calorie counting whilst we are here - which is not what I wanted to be doing. It did not realize it was going to be so easy to gain as I had been on maintenance for about 18 months and doing ok.

Wow - sounds like quite a nice lifestyle Systema. You aren't much out of range though so I am sure you will get to grips with it quickly.

I have had to get to grips with it because I have a wardrobe full of clothes which are now very tight on me and are still in my house in UK I bought shorts and trousers in Matalan sale after the Summer and left them at home and I have had to buy shorts here which I don't really like.

we are going to Lake Como in September & travelling by train to Venice for a couple of nights.
Picked a hotel near Santa Lucia railway station. Never been to Italy before & hoping travelling by train isn't too daunting x

We also travelled via train Italy to France, I loved it, I love travelling by train though, it's so interesting the people, the scenery, just all of it!!

Can anyone give some tips for places to visit on lake Como x The sites I'd go on would be Virtual Tourist, I'd also type in google 'free things to do in XYZ' this usually brings up loads, I've downloaded an app 'Triposo' it's free & has gps so you can use it on hols, that has a lot of info on, recently I found freetours.com and we used this site when we went to Frankfurt recently the tours are free & the guides work for a tip, you give what you think the tour was worth, it's brill. I hope that sort of helps.
