So - how many of you are suffering from some saggy bits on the arms after losing some weight? I certainly am! When I got to target I did some toning exercises and it helped - but that was 4 years ago and I need to do some more. So this is a September challenge to see if I can tone my flabby bingo wings a bit. Starting on 1st September I'll be using this video (as recommended by Susie). Maybe not every day but that's what I'm aiming for. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WwK9lWwxnwIf you don't have hand weights you can improvise with either:- a) 500ml diet Pepsi/Coke bottles filled with sand/flour to make good hand weights. b) 1 pint plastic milk bottle - the type with a handle - filled with water and hey presto you have a weight that is roughly 1lb. One in each hand of course! If you want to go a bit heavier - go for a 2 pint bottle. So who's in? To monitor my progress I'll be measuring my upper arms at their flabbiest point. That could be a bit embarrassing if they've grown as I have my measurements from May 2012!

I'll have a go - but I can't see You Tube from work, so I don't know what I'm signing up to! It's nothing too strenuous - all based on Pilates! Although I suspect there will be some "burn" going on by the end!

I'm on hols for a few weeks but will continue with the challenge while away. 10 minutes isn't too much of an ask at the end of the day So are we all measuring pre challenge? xxx

Hmm, having signed up for this without being able to see the video at work, now I can see the video I'm slightly regretting my impetuousness.... Nevertheless, here's a photo of said arms (& back of course, which by necessity joins them together :-)) Attachment DeletedMeasurement: 10.5" each at widest part when tensed, but I'd expect it to increase not decrease, I guess? The weights I have are 3kg, but if I can't do it all with those, then it'll be the 1kg wrist weights. Game on!
