phoenixx137 - They say that doing about 10 minutes on one of these trainers is like an hour at the gym and you can see a huge difference too! If you take a look on YouTube you will be able to find some videos of the different exercises you can do on there. I bet you will have lots of fun with your new toy, you best let us know how you get on with it!
Your also right about each vlcd, most work in the same way in which you need to enter ketosis in order to lose weight, although our plans are different. We get a lot of members come to us from other vlcd diets who tell us that we are much more cheaper than others with a bigger variety, so how about trying us 'dietninja'? We would recommend that you try our taster pack, its a weeks supply of products for £29.99. You will get 28 packs, a range of shakes, soups, savoury meal packs and bars for you to try from our wide range. Take a look on our website for more information, we would be happy to answer any questions you have too!
Tubs - Glad your enjoying the water flavourings, I don;t know if you have done this yet but to make a yummy difference you could add sparkling water to them instead and this turns them more into a fizzy pop! We have just introduced our Mulled Wine water flavouring especially for this season, so make sure you give that a try, perfect for this time of year, you could heat it up in the microwave to make as a hot drink. Your right about the water, it will indeed aid with your Weight Loss, it can help to suppress your appetite to a great extent and has been know to also increase your metabolic rate too, so make sure your sipping on plenty!

What kind of food dreams? I've never tried the water flavourings.... and can be either very good or very bad about drinking enough. I find too if I start the morning off drinking a lot the rest of the day I can drink tons, but if I don't its a real struggle. Not sure if theres something physiological in that or its all in the head The vibrators still in the box as it takes two people to assemble... and since I'm bad at those kinds of things am waiting for someone not so useless to help put it together

You must give them a go, at the moment we have a special deal on where you buy 3 and save 33.3% on each on, that's more or less buy 2 and get one free!
If you are struggling with drinking just the water we have a drinks list on our main website that gives you a list of allowed drinks you are able to have whilst on plan, you can even have some pop such as Coke Zero and Dr.Pepper Zero for example, it may help!

Hi everyone, how are we all getting on? Diet Ninja-have you hit ketosis yet do you think? I'm another 3lbs down this week, again thrilled as its been a totally crazy week, I haven't drunk as much water as I should. I'm planning to refeed the week before Chrismas and jump back on the wagon after New Year (and the BIG birthday!) xx

Hey tubs... my weight loss was pretty rubbish this week... less that 1lb. Hopefully will be better next week though!
Originally I was planning on re-feeding for Christmas... but decided it was probably the worst time of year! So the plans to go to the new year then try losing the last of the weight through calorie counting and exercise. In my head I keep telling myself I should stay on plan longer.... but I think im at the point where weight loss on the scales isn't so important as getting fitter and toning up. But... that could change tomorrow.
I have a big birthday too next year... though not until may... hoping to be near goal by then!

Well done for losing 3lbs Tubs that's brilliant! Make sure you are drinking plenty of water, even carry a bottle of water around with you if you can. You don't need to follow re-feed till you have reached your goal. So you are fine to stay on plan up until 48 hours before you have an alcoholic drink and introduce 200g of carbs everyday into your meals to safely bring you out of ketosis. If you are not drinking alcohol then you can stay on plan up until Christmas day, if thats the day you're having off Then again jump back on in the New Year x Phoenixx137, what week did you have this week? If it's 2 or 3, don't worry as they can be notorious for low or even no losses, so 1lb is still great x

Hi darlings, sorry been AWOL, it's been a hideous couple of weeks, I sadly lost my wonderful Dad last week. I've (somehow) stayed on plan, and lost 8lbs last Tuesday-although I realise this will probably be entirely from tears ;-) I'm stopping tomorrow until after New Year, I'm going to just have some pasta and bread tomorrow, it's the funeral Tuesday and I will be drinking, is this a safe enough plan or do I need to do more? I'm not referring until I get to goal and know I'll probably throw quite a bit of weight on over Christmas but needs must.... Hope you're all ok xx

Aww Tubs, I'm so sorry about your loss. Really.. no words... but let us know how your getting on?
I think for drinking they said come off plan for 48 hours. So you should be fine. And... in January you'll kick butt on the scales, but like you said, sometimes needs must.
Keeping you and your family in my thoughts <3

Awhh Tubs so sorry to here of your loss.
You would need to come off plan completely 48 hours before you are going to be drinking alcohol and be consuming 200g of carbs on each of those days to ensure that you are fully out of Ketosis and have no ketones left in your system so that you can drink safely.
Here is a guide of what you should be having Breakfast.... Cereal a bowl with milk (any Kellogs) Lunch ..... 1 x medium jacket potato with tuna Evening meal ... A pasta or rice dish Snacks ... Fruit, Cheese and crackers Drinks ...Squash (orange, lemon or lime)

Thank you so much lovelies-your kind words mean a lot. Sitting with toast-after slobbering at the smell for weeks, it tastes like cardboard! Will stick to the plan given, thanks, really helpful. I'll still stick about and see how our gang are getting on though xxx

I had a cheat day and thought the same about toast! Its funny... how much the taste buds do really change.
And... after a few annoyingly slow weeks I finally reached my century this morning. Waiting for Donna to get home to see how she's done in WI this week!

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dad tubs, I can't imagine the past few weeks you have had.
Joannes meal example should be quite helpful for you, it you can try to eat carbs with each meal. We're talking foods like bread, pasta, potatoes and rice for example to make sure that your fully out and like Phoenixx has mentioned you should be doing this at least 48 hours before you start drinking.
You will gain mostly your water and glycogen stores but if you be careful and look at what your eating over the christmas period you hopefully won't do too much damage at all.
It's lovely to hear from you again, make sure you keep us posted and don't be a stranger.

Coooooeeeeee! Anyone home? I'm back - a year older and (pah) wiser. Have stayed off plan as planned and am restarting-day one today, still got about a weeks supply of food packs but ordered some bars. I was weighed a few weeks ago for a hospital appt and allegedly had only put 1lb on after Christmas and New Year. Hmmm. Will go and get weighed later and see the true story but at least I'm back on track and motivated *pompoms* How is everyone? X

Morning all, well it's day 7- I didn't get weighed before today so don't know the full extent of my 'gap' damage But, with this morning's weigh in, I'm up to a total of 3 stones 1lb woohooo! I'm so thrilled and feel really motivated to smash the last stone/stone and a half. Omg and how lovely are the new shakes! Carrot cake and blueberry are amazing, going to try doing blueberry mousse this week and making the little biscuits out of the carrot cake. Weirdly since the gap, my tastes have changed again-I'm favouring the sweeter stuff rather than the meals. Hope everyone has a great week! Xx
