I was doing so well on Cambridge until I suffered from such severe constipation that resulted in a prolapse. I was doing everything right, but it just didn't agree with me. Then i went back to WW vintage points and was doing really well as had a couple of buddies on the minimins site. Then it closed down and everything went to pot. I am considering exante and using ground linseed (a tip on another post).
Can you tell me how you are all getting on with it. Are you on 3 packs per day or what?
Thanks.

The constipation is a possible side effect on any vlcd unfortunately but you can help avoid it with plenty of water. I don't know about linseed but psyllium husks can help. I seem to remember using that when I was on Cambridge, I haven't had any problems this time round on Exante though. I do just 3 straight packs a day, same as Cambridge SS.

Hi Caz. Thanks. Believe it or not, I was using the psyillium husks on Cambridge. Perhaps their packs just didn't agree with me. I've just put in my first Exante order so will give it a go and look forward to being part of a buddy group again. I think that really helps for me.

I do have occasional problems with constipation but not too bad at all. It is a problem. I am doing Exante TS like Caz, 3 packs a day.

I've been on Exante for coming up to a month and it is generally going well. I haven't always followed it exactly, for example instead of having 3 packs a day I have occasionally just had 2 and then nibbled at chicken or a bit of cheese if I have fancied it. Due to personal stuff going on this week my dieting has been really disrupted but I still think I will be able to post a decent loss at my weigh in tomorrow. My take on dieting is that people can say they are on a diet and then spend years of their life stuck in a vicious circle. I have been unhappy with my weight for years and always feebly had it as a new year's resolution (every single year) but never did anything about it. Something clicked a month or so ago and made me so determined to lose the weight once and for all and I've never been so focussed on saying goodbye to the excess weight for good. I'm sure it will happen for you too if you stay strong

Hi danders. I'm on 3 packs Exante a day too. I haven't experienced any constipation while on it but I do drink 4 litres of water a day which definitely helps. .
If you have had a prolapse its important to add any fibre to your diet gradually if you need to x
