Hi everyone, I've posted a couple of times and I've been on and off the wagon for the past year like you wouldn't believe but today leaves 76 days until I fly to Rome for my summer holiday. I was there in April last year at the same weight as I am now and I felt like the fattest person in the whole of Italy, I was miserable and felt totally out of place (not helped by the fact that Romans don't seem to like tattoos and I'm covered in large pieces from my chest to my feet!) Anyway. I have a tonne of shakes, bars, gooey puds and carbonara left so I'm starting today. I've printed off a weekly weigh in sheet and a grid with 76 boxes that I can cross off for every day I stay on plan (because I'm a Type-A control freak ), I think having a visual will make me less likely to fall off the wagon and ruin my progress. My fiance has also promised me a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses at the airport if I can lose 2st before we go so that's a big incentive - no more £2 Primark sunnies for me! Wish me luck - I'm going to need it!

Sounds like a great idea to keep you motivated. I like visual things like that too. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! I managed a spot-on day yesterday - three packs, one coke zero, a coffee and 2L of water. Today should be fairly easy as well as I have a board meeting 10am - 1pm and an awards presentation 2pm - 5pm so I won't really be able to eat even if I wanted to!

Hello everyone! I'm still alive and I've lost a fair whack of weight now. I moved from Exante to Atkins in support of my fiance but the scales aren't moving like I need them to, with only 6 weeks until my holiday - eek! Thinking of using up the rest of my packs between tomorrow and the holiday, I find Exante really tough mentally but I need to shift another dress size!

Thank you! I'm definitely on the Exante wagon, I had a bit of a blow out yesterday and I'm up 4lbs on the scales this morning I know it's just water weight but I was so, so, SO close to getting into the 13's and I just can't push myself backwards again. I spend so much time getting on and off this wagon, surely it counts as cardio?

You really need to be 'in the zone' (sorry for the jargon-speak ) for it to stick, especially TS. I stopped it at the end of June, and have only managed to get back on TS this week (3.5 days and counting!), and I'm still trying to undo the damage done in those six weeks.
