Thought it would be good for people to share things which are making the long journey of weight loss easier and help those of us with lots to lose stay in the game.

Still to Lose: 11lbs

Mini goals - I'd never have lost 12 stone if I'd thought about having to lose that much at the start! Staying to group Friends & support on Minis & hopefully now here

Yep I agree with SJB, mini targets is the way to go when you have a substantial amount of weight to lose. I take it one meal at a time and one day at a time and the days on plan soon add up. I've been on this journey since September and it has really flown by. Good Luck Jayde Tracy

I agree with looking at it in small chunks, seems more achievable. I am pleased that my weight now starts with a 1 for he first time in many years

Thank you Jayde for starting this wonderful thread! I have just started my weight loss journey so I don't think I really have any tips, although I was looking at weight loss quotes and this one struck a chord - We have 21 meals in a week, don't let one meal ruin your weight loss. My thoughts are do get weighed every week no matter how bad it may make you feel. Don`t hide from it especially like me my journey is not straight but round and round. The idea is to lose weight, but I have not been the best at that but getting weighed regularly at least helps to not put it all back on again.
