You might be at first but once you get into ketosis you won't be. If you absolutely have to have something to stop you falling face first into a family sized bag of maltesers (is that just me?) then have some protein, but of chicken or a hard boiled egg or something. It won't harm your weight loss and may help keep you on track til you get into ketosis. Good luck x

Good luck Rachael. It might be hard at first, but you will get used to it and should see good losses. What do you think of the food? I find posting and reading on here a big help.

Welcome and good luck. The first 2 or 3 days were the worst for me, you just have to power through those and then you're laughing. Stick with it and the first week's loss will make it all worthwhile.

Hi guys, have bought my first lot of exante products and plan to start in the morning . I lost 2.5 stone last year on slimming world but it taught me nothing and now im heavier than i was before i started! Feeling down about my weight and appearance, so onwards and downwards! I am currently 15st 5lbs and 5ft6, want to be roughly 11 stone. Hopefully i can stick to it!!!!! Rachael Hi Rachael Welcome to the Forum, have you come over from the Exante Forum? I started my weight loss journey with the Total Solution and for the first three weeks consumed absolutely nothing else and lost my first stone in weight.
If you have ordered shakes; they re delicious hot or cold. I love my Chocolate shake hot and to make in a tall mug, blend initially with cold water so it doesnt go lumpy, then top up with boiling, its delicious. If you have Vanilla shakes, you can add a tsp of coffee to the dry mix, and do the same, mix with a little cold water first, then top up with boiling.
To help you on your journey, put a picture in your mind of how you want to look, that is your goal and every time you feel like dropping off the wagon, think of that picture again and drink, drink, drink and go away from the kitchen. You can have water, tea or coffee without caffeine (as the caffeine make you dehydrate which causes constipation), zero coke because it has no citric acid, and citric acid restricts weight loss, oxo, Swiss Vegetable Bouillon, and Exante do a range of flavours to add to water.
I have now lost over 3 stone; If I can do it, so can you; this diet really works but it really is mind over matter and really, really wanting to achieve your goal for your own long term health sake.
I also use Walden Farm Foods and all their products are zero carbs and zero calories; the do salad dressings, sauces, jams, and Waldens also do various coffee creamers. I personally love them all, they are a treat to use on salads etc. I buy mine from here www.dolphinfitness.co.uk/en/walden-farms
As time goes on you can think about replacing one of the Exante packs with a light meal with the Waldens zero dressings. See the Exante Food lists in Introduction - these are our bible - here is one of them - s1.thcdn.com/design-assets/ex...unter-2013.pdf
Thought I would share this with you. Have any of you tried Alpro Light milk; must be the light version. I have used it for years as I am allergic to cows milk. Or Alpro unsweetened Almond milk, as suggested by another Forum Member, is also lower in calories.
For each 100ml its only 22 cals, 1.2g fat, 0.1 carbs (yes very low carb) and 1.2g of fibre, and also Vitamins D, B2, B12 and Calcium. Totally lactose free which is what I cant tolerate! Its also free from gluten (which makes me bloat) wheat and dairy.
I have this in my tea and coffee every day. It is an acquired taste but you really do get use to it and just dont notice the difference. During a day I have on average, 2 coffees and 2-3 cups of tea.
Lots on here to give you help and support and we are all in the same boat. Take care Anne

Good luck! I like the meals myself and it gives a bit more variety, but some people don't like them. If you feel hungry drink plenty and try to keep busy, a hot drink of tea or coffee or oxo type savoury drink is sometimes more satisfying than a cold one, but do drink lots of water too. One thing I find helpful is to keep all food out of sight in a cupboard. Seeing or smelling things makes me want them.
