Thanks guys! Day 2 has definitely been easier than day 1, which has pleased me as I was readying myself for a struggle. I think upping my water uptake has helped, as well as watching some inspirational youtube clips to keep me on track.
Day 2: Breakfast: Exante Vanilla shake Lunch: Exante raspberry white chocolate chip bar Dinner: Exante chocolate shake Drinks: Coke Zero(500ml), water (2 litres)
I'm not starving and nor have I felt massively hungry. Looking forward to day 3.

Hi Newlife, hope today is going ok. I'm restarting today following return from holidays. Keep your fluid intake up to help deal with the hunger x

Hi NewLife,
I'm just finishing day four of Exante, so not an old hand yet, but I can confirm that every day is getting easier as far as hunger goes. Make sure you are drinking plenty and find something to keep your mind occupied. I think my worst hunger battles are in the evening when I know that all my meals are done for the day.
The jam and yogurt bars are lovely. I'm cross that I only ordered one! It's taking me a while to discover what I do and don't like. I tried the honeycomb shake and shepherds pie for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised by both. I blended the shake with ice (a good tip I got from reading the boards) and yes, it was like ice cream. The pie looked like brown mush but was very tasty. I do miss texture with my evening meal though!
Good luck and I look forward to reading how you are getting on :-)

Thanks guys, day 3 has gone well and I definitely feel that staying hydrated has helped keep hunger at bay. It sounds like you've tried quite a range so far agnesnitt! I only ordered a bundle with shakes and bars and can't afford more at the moment, but am definitely missing the texture of food and so made myself some Slim Pasta, which they say you're allowed on total plus as part of your extra 100 calories. It only clocked in at 9 calories and so it's definitely something which I'm going to be doing until I exhaust these meal replacements and buy my next batch. Anyhow, things have been really good today. I think I've slipped into ketosis and so haven't had any hunger pangs, but have had the dry mouth and energy burst which was so characteristic of my time on Atkins Super proud of myself and excited that hopefully it should make things a little easier. so day three... Day 3 Breakfast:Exante raspberry white chocolate chip bar Lunch:Exante strawberry shake Snack:100g Slim Pasta with herbs & spices (9 calories, 0 Carbohydrates) Dinner: Exante double chocolate bar Drinks: Water (2 litres), black coffee (1/2 a cup)

Thanks girls. Today has been more of a challenge than I anticipated. I haven't felt hungry, but have been feeling quite anxious (I have an interview coming up) and so have felt a lot of emotional hunger, hunger which is hard to fill with shakes and bars. I made some zero noodles with a couple of olives and a sprinkle of cheddar, which I know is not strictly on plan, but I figured if I'm going to treat myself I'd keep it high protein and under 100 calories so I wouldn't get knocked out of ketosis. I've been trying to slowly up my water, which I'm finding quite hard as I'm not a big fan of water, but I'm getting there. I'm only managing up to about 2 litres at a push. I may invest in the water flavourings on my next order.
Day 4 Breakfast: Exante vanilla shake Lunch: Exante raspberry white chocolate chip bar Dinner: Haven't decided yet, probably strawberry & lemon shake Snack: 200g slim noodles, with 4 olives and sprinkle of cheddar cheese (<90 calories) Drinks: Black coffee (1/2 cup), Water (1.5 litres so far)

Stick with it & you may find your water tolerance gradually increase. I never used to like water that much but now easily manage 4L a day so you never know x

Yeah a friend of mine told me that water grew on her as well, I'm hoping the same happens to me. You can get slim noodles from Holland and barrats and they are made out of mainly water, which sounds horrible, but they're actually quite tasty, though I definitely prefer the slim pasta. Unfortunately haven't had a great day today. I started off well, with a strawberry shake and 1/2 can of coke zero for my sweet tooth, but I really let my anxiety get on top of me and ended up having a roughly 1000calorie binge this afternoon I've decided not to linger on it and feel too guilty, I'm just going to continue drinking my water and plan how to avoid it in the future. In positive news, I jumped on the scales this morning to find that I've lost 7lb, which pleased me massively, even though I know that it's mostly water weight, I'm sure a couple of pounds have been lost Going to try and not jump on the scales again until Sunday to give me a chance to comeback from todays slip up. I wouldn't mind maintaining that weight loss by Sunday if I can. Wish me better luck tomorrow.

Thanks Susie,
I did turn things around today and got back on plan. Oddly still not feeling too hungry, though I'm sure I can't still be in ketosis after yesterdays food.
Day 6 Breakfast: Exante strawberry shake Lunch: Exante vanilla shake Dinner: (I know it's late, but I haven't eaten yet) Drinks: Water (2 litres), Coffee (dash of skimmed milk)
