Hi, is there any easy bolognese sauce recipes please... don't want anything too spicy, but do want flavour (if that makes sense)... thanks

i just fry up garlic cloves, add small diced peppers, onions and courgette and sometimes mushrooms (diced really fine) then chuck in a load of herbs (Basil, oregano, Italian mix) and dry fry until the veg is soft. Then mix in some pasatta, a tin of chopped tomatoes with herbs, dash of Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, small tbsp sweetener and few more herbs. Simmer it down until it thickens. Sometimes also put in some beef stock to give it more depth of flavour but usually just experiment and chuck in whatever i have!
Prob not official recipe from anywhere its just one i whip up when i need quick base for bolagnese, meatballs, canelloni etc.

My sauce is one that sneaks loads of veg in but the kids don't know lol. And they love it!
Dry Fry finely cut bacon until crispy, add onions, i use red and loads of grated mushrooms and courgettes, a tub of passata, tin of chopped tomatoes, and a generous splash of Wooshie sauce.
Let simmer for about 10 minutes .
Delicious.
