There is no free food allowance on pastries sweet or savoury it gives salmon en croute as an example
So a straight 1 syn per 20 calories = 13 syns

Wow! Really!! That's new!
Thanks for your help. I'll probably just count a few SYNS for the filo pastry then and still count the salmon as free! Some things just have to be tweaked!
Thanks again!

It's daft as if you make it yourself from a sw recipe you only syn the pastry I'm sure.

Yeah I agree! I mean I can understand sweet pastries because there is no free foods in them and are probably going to be eaten on its own with no filling power but this has a lump of free food in the middle of it and will be eaten with a pile of roasted veg and new potatoes ie as part of a meal.
Can I be really cheeky and ask that you look up the SYNS using the salmon as free food...just pretend I didn't tell you what it was! Lol
Thanks

Per 100g its 5.5 syns
So if its 200g it would be 11 syns
I suppose its synned as they don't know the proportion of salmon to pastry whereas if you make your own you know you use 100g pastry between 4

Thank you! That's so kind of you!
They are actually 100g each as they are just small squares of salmon. As it happens, I didn't have them in the end, instead I have picked at 'stuff' while cooking my husband his dinner! Not to mention I am following 5:2 at the moment anyway and today was supposed to be a fast day!!But I can see me coming back to SW shortly so its handy to know for then!
Thanks again, I really appreciate it.
