I was wondering if anyone has worked this out - I eat about 3 nakd bars a week & I've been telling myself that, as the ingredients are mainly just fruits & nuts, they are basically primal.
Note - I am not hard-core Primal, I'm not one of the evangelists one sees on Mark's daily apple & nor am I going to be, so the teeny amount of vegetable oil which apparently they have in them, which is so small that it doesn't have to be listed in ingredients, frankly doesn't bother me. I just wonder if, on a macro scale, nakd bars could be considered Primal?

My thoughts on naked bars are.. Yummy! But the dried fruit and dates are quite high in natural sugars .. So I stopped eating them because of that reason.

Hmm my question to you would be.. Are you trying to loose weight, maintaining or using them after a hard gym/ crossfit session??

Ah, good question! I'm more or less around my target weight & have been since last July (sometimes slightly above like now, having returned from holiday last week, sometimes a pound or so below), though I'm thinking I could possibly go lower as a new target. I tend to eat 1/2 a bar after a gym session as a snack. I'm not exactly pushing the boat out with my consumption!!

From what I've read .. (Ref: marksdailyapple) if your around your target weight, then in moderation as a treat or after your training session.. But just be aware of the natural sugars, sounds like you have it sorted

Now, cheese... There's another conundrum. Cheese is what stops me doing paleo!! I'd even give up nakd bars for cheese!

Lol I do cheese .. Feta, parmesan, mozzarella, wee bit of cheddar.. But not every day.. I don't drink milk anymore .. But yogurt, cream and wee bit cheese now and again .. Yes
