If all goes to plan I will get rid of a bag of clothes and an old microwave at the tip, plus a bird nesting box and craft items are going to a good home.

Plan failed in that I haven't been to the tip as yet, through lack of time. Electrical items are still going there, but possibly not the clothes Whilst I was speaking to the electrician about new plug sockets one of the charity collection bags was pushed through my door, I have a collection of those which get used for kitchen bin liners or general rubbish collections. The electrician started telling me about using those charity bags - he complained that we get so many of them, do they think we wear clothes once and then replace them - and saying how much of the money actually went to the charities that they say they are supporting. Apparently our local hospice will happily take clothes items that can't be sold in their shops because they sort through and weigh in all the unsaleable items for scrap. I'm going to call in to the local shop and check that out before I descend on them with a bag of holey jumpers and odd socks.
I'm thinking that I will declutter a couple of kitchen drawers by emptying the contents into one of those plastic sacks and sort them through whilst sitting watching tv, with a rubbish bag and a keeping box in front of me. Then the plastic sandwich bags, bin liners and cleaning cloths that are currently stacked on the breakfast bar and the tea towels and kitchen hand towels that are upstairs can be tidily sorted into the two empty drawers. That leaves only one drawer which contains baking dishes amongst other items. Since I don't do any baking they are really surplus to requirements so they can go either to my niece (who does bake) or to the charity shop. When I get around to sorting that drawer.
I'm convincing myself here that making the plans is as good as anything.

I have one of those tubular carrier bag holders, which is full ( of carrier bags obviously, although I do know someone who bought one to store knickers in) As carrier bags are still free here, I've also got a collection filling a couple of carrier bags and a drawer. I'm going to try and get some of them to fit into a smaller space, and also I'm going to donate some to family in Wales where they have to pay for the carrier bags - they will need them when they move house sometime in the next few months.

Thanks Jo. Just ache a bit around the bust area where I hit the top of s fence when I tripped out of the front door. Haha. Ow, that sounds painful x Did this Monday last week and stayed at Haverhill where my Grandkids are. Stayed from Wed to Sunday. Went to walk in clinic on Tuesday this week as am having a lot of pain when moving/getting up from a seat. They have told me that I have a cracked rib. No x-ray or treatment, they could just tell by the way I was walking and holding myself. I am just taking painkillers and rubbing in (gently) Ibrufen Gel. The doc reckons about 5-6 weeks to heal. 10 days at the moment and maybe a little easier, but not enough to get into a bed. Sleeping on Sofa.

How are you feeling now nanny Doreen?
I filled a black bag full of rubbish and a bag for the charity shop whilst clearing out the toy sideboard. Yes, a sideboard which stores toys - grrrr!

We have a green bin to put garden rubbish which I filled to the brim this week.
Not from my garden but from the alleyway just to the side of the rear gate. It belongs to the Housing Association but they never clear this part. I had a go and have done about half of it. Nettles blackbery bush and small trees to name just some of it. Also bits that neighbours have shove there.
Good body magic
