Ohh What made you move to Sunny Ireland if you don't mind me asking? I think it looks like a beautiful country. I've half decided I want to buy one of those small scottish islands if I ever get rich enough lol!!

My now husband is from here. But I am really really homesick right now. It is a beautiful place, some amazing scenery. And most of the people are lovely. Now to own an island that would be fab. I currently only get hom twice a year. In the summer and then again at Christmas! ! X

Aw bless you. I know how hard it is, my parents and little (although he's over a head taller than me!) brother live in Switzerland. And all of my mums side of the family. x At least it's the summer soon so you will be seeing them shortly. I bet that they won't recognise the new you!

It is hard, some times are harder than others fir example my dad collapsed last year and was in hospital that was tough.
How do you cope with your family in Switzerland? Do you get to see them much?

It is hard, some times are harder than others fir example my dad collapsed last year and was in hospital that was tough. How do you cope with your family in Switzerland? Do you get to see them much? I last saw them 2 years ago before my holiday that was this month so it can be horrible. However now that I have a job and OH will be fully qualified soon (september) we will be able to see them far more. However they're coming down near my birthday (July) so I'm really looking forwards to seeing them and I wasn't too upset with leaving last time as I know I will see them again within 2 months. Coping wise I always find it hardest around birthdays (Theirs and mine) Holidays, just after we say good bye (after seeing each other in person) and if something happens. Luckily nothing bad has happened with my family, however my mum did have both of her knees replaced. It was lovely seeing her for her birthday as she is walking so much better! How is your dad now? I hope that he has recovered well.

2 years that must have been tough my dad is back to his normal self thank you. He is extremely fit for a 73 year old - fitter than most people half his age. I still get really upset when they leave me or when I leave them, it so so hard. Thank caz and pr hope you are both good. Today has been good. A 16:8 day. Had sausage, bacon and beans on bread for lunch. Turkey burgers for tea just. Snacks :- mcvities deli choc. Fibre one salted caramel bar, grapes, apple and cheese sticks

Food sounds really nice today. I'm very jealous of those fibre one bars. I may look to see if you can buy them on the Internet xx
