Wi was a loss of last weeks 3lb gain but a sts from the week before. So I am happy enough Something is changing, I am not bothered that I didn't get a big loss? ?? What's happening? ?? Maybe I am finally coming to realise that it is a lifestyle and not an over night fix, maybe it's because I am enjoying my food so much and maybe it's because I know I am losing inches - or maybe it's all of the above! ! Introducing my new toy My bottle for protein shakes. I have got to the stage where I just don't feel like eating breakfast most days, I just can't be bothered. So going to have protein shakes, the one I have now is cookies and cream , made it up with almond milk (not many carbs) and some bioglan cacao powder. Yummy! ! Feels like a cheat too. Went swimming yesterday, wish I could go more than once a week - really love it. Might go on a short bike ride later - really loving my bike too. It's something I seriously think I can get into and do longer distances. Only thing is my left knee is a bit uncomfortable at the moment so will have to keep an eye on it.

I want to know about the shaker too! I have been reading about bulletproof coffee, that might be another option for breakfast. well done on the loss, that's great, and loving the new attitude!

Nothing special I just love it haha. I have been having bullet proof coffee but some days the fat gets a bit much then others I just can't stand the coffee. I know some mix the protein powder with the bullet proof coffee.

We were out on our bikes for half an hour this evening. I am hoping that once the kids have gone back to school in September I will feel confident enough to go on my own and on the road, hopefully a bit smaller too I can only hope and dream.

Low-carbing calms so much pre-diet hysteria. And food gradually recedes from being our number one concern to being a natural and enjoyable part of life, which is as it should be.
Only restricting carbs gives me this freedom. And it is freedom, as you're happily finding out. Addiction to fast losses every single week is damaging because we are asking our bodies to perform the impossible. Every challenge can now be tackled in a more peaceful and reasonable state of mind. We enjoy socialising again because we have a solid framework backing-up our every endeavour xx

Thanks ladies Oh I hope so waffle I really do. But I will admit I am starting to struggle a bit with not seeing any losses. I was only saying to Lexie yesterday that I think I sometimes still expect the losses I got on xenical - I know that'd never going to happen but something would be nice! !

How are you enjoying the holidays?
My GP prescribed me Orlistat but it made me far too nervous so I didn't carry on with it for long.
