This is a more up to date song my daughter likes, by Sia and friends. I quite like it and the crazy video. WB can sing it and play a good version of it on her guitar m.youtube.com/watch?v=kg1BljLu9YY

Urgh, it's only Wednesday and I'm withering!!!!
Now the nights are drawing in and the temperature is dropping time seems to have slowed down!!!!
Autumn is my favourite season, I love getting cosy in front of the fire and wrapping up with scarves and hats when going for walks but we seem to be in this awkward bit in between right now!!!!
I finally got up to date with 'Victoria' last night and it ended on a Christmas special so today all I want to do is start Christmas planning which seems a little bit premature as we've only just landed in September!!!!!
I need to find something to keep me distracted for a bit!!!! Has anyone got any good tv recommendations? I have sky, Amazon prime and Netflix.... let me know your faves so I can have a look and plan some tv distraction until at least October!!!!!!

A woman after my own heart, I love autumn and dare I say it ...Winter!
I haven’t watched anything recently on Netflix etc but I will have a think about faves I have tuned into 😊
Yeehaaa Lilac, I love country music..I also love cowboys..but that’s a different story haha 😉
I enjoy good dramas on tv too and often save them up to binge on. I watched last night’s Wanderlust..to judge whether to save up a few to watch, it was..errm...interesting haha...I shall watch the other episodes though! 😊

Now the nights are drawing in and the temperature is dropping time seems to have slowed down!!!! Wish I could say the same about here. The temperature has dropped a bit from the highs of a few weeks ago when it rampaged up to 40oc - but it is still 33oc today and VERY humid today. The bedding has taken ages to dry - when the humidity is low it normally dries on about 20 minutes.
I'm not a TV watcher - only my beloved Gibbs really (but that's another saga) so can't recommend anything to distract you. Although did you watch Grantchester? That is about to start reshowing on ITV3 I think. I enjoyed it - Robson Green as a policeman in the 50's

I’m a winter girl too! Absolutely hate hot weather so this summer has been hard!
I’m not a huge tv watcher either, love NCIS, NCIS LA, And Bull. Most other things I watch are because the hubby’s watching them. He’s been watching Jessica Jones etc not sure if that’s your thing?

I love Winter in the UK - all the snowy scenes blah blah blah. But I also love the centrally heated houses so that you can get warm when you go back indoors. January/February are actually quite cold here - okay only 0-5oc overnight, very occasionally we get a frost and it freezes.
But that feels pretty blumin' cold when you don't have any central heating. At times it feels like I've gone back to the 60'sand the house I was brought up in.
Is anyone out there old enough to remember no heating and windows that had ice on the INSIDE?

I do remember that Bev ! It was actually when my son was a baby. He's only 24 now! We had very little cash and my husband fitted the heating room by room as we could afford to buy each radiator. I'll never forget coming home from the theatre very late to a centrally heated house . He had finally connected it all when I was out. Such a fond memory. Take it for granted now though.
I like all the seasons as long as they are 'proper' I'm looking forward to the autumn as we have had such a hot summer and I don't feel cheated.
Have you watched Vanity fair Blubex ? It was on Sunday and Monday ITV . I loved it.Its on catch up.
Had a lovely long walk in the sunshine along the Worcester canal today with my friend and her dog. Lovely pub lunch and a pint at the end ! Perfect day

Yes I love the central heating too! I want the equivalent air con system for summer if its going to be as hot as this year in future. Its been a bit hot during the day here which is a bit annoying when I am busy in the kitchens at work but I would probably like it if I was off for a dog walk!

I have a terraced house that was built in 1903, has central heating but the wall's are just brick with no insulation so downstairs gets pretty cold as the entry runs along the side.... I fitted log burners in the main downstairs rooms when we renovated (1 last year and 1 this) so will finally have a toasty house this winter!!!
I can't remember frozen windows but the house I grew up in didn't have radiators, just these odd little vents that blew out hot air! Moving into a house with radiators was life changing!!!
I've started watching downtown Abbey....I never bothered with it when it was on tv but it's on prime so I can binge watch it!!!!!

Well I have been watching ballers it not quite my usual thing but I kind of enjoyed it. A bit too much sex and scandal for my liking but watchable. I am also reading a nice cosy chick lit type book by Trisha Ashley. Also WB and I watched the second series of Atypical which is a comedy drama series about an autistic boy that we both quite like. Not to forget my audio book I listen to while walking the dog and things The half penny orphans. I quite like those historical novels set in wartime or the 1950s I am sure I'm a granny at heart! Anyway a quite strange selection of things there but it has kept me busy this weekend.
