Challenge Time.
Start Date Thursday 10th August for 21 days.

I'll wear my fitbit tomorrow over the park & wiil see how many steps that adds up to. Will commit to doing it 4 x a week x

Ok, over the course of the week, I will aim, realistically, for 3571 steps a day. Odd number I hear you say, Lol, but here's the explanation....I am aiming for 25,000 per week, so 100,000 in the four week period of the challenge 3571 steps is an approx step count, I think 3 of the days I will need to walk 3574 to be exact! Haha. The point is to have reached a total of 100,000 by the end of the four weeks If I am also being nice to myself, haha, I don't want the pressure to reach 10,000 a day! Haha...not just now anyway This challenge time scale involves cherubs return to school, so after the 16th, I may find my step count rising! So, I am challenging myself, as painlessly as possible, haha, to a total of 25,000 over a one week period...any more is a welcome bonus 25,000 x 4 = 100,000

That's a decent amount Rosie & will make a difference on the scales.
My walk around the park came to 3000 steps give or take. That was just under 2km so will aim for 12,000 steps a week which is 8 km a week. 24km over the 3 weeks x

A few of the ladies might not know about it? Yep still counting your steps Rosie. Since I started counting you have done 1,403,162 steps - up to and including yesterday! That's approximately 1,063 km or 701.58 miles!!! And has used up 280 whole nut bars!!! I'll join the challenge too - but only to keep and eye on you lot! I can't walk far now - the bar at the end of the village is about my limit And that's about 250 steps round trip! So you'll not be wanting that in the list!!!

5085 steps today Purposeful walking!! Felt good! Welcome Bev, yes I need your input too, keeps me motivated Hmm 12 miles a week doesn't seem like much, in the long term, I will try very hard to double that!
