Oh I watched one of those Rosie. They were a lovely couple, and seemed so much happier when they were slimmer. The cynic in me thought hmmm wonder how long they will keep it off. Really hope they do. I like that the show has different experts for both the physical and mental aspects of weightloss.

Awww that would have been a lovely sight Nothing cuter than a duck being followed by lots of little yellow pom-poms. On a different note Did anyone see the Horizon programme the other day ? A doctor was doing an obesity road trip. There was an interesting case about a mum (slim) having a really bad tummy bug. The cure was to introduce fecal matter from her daughter (overweight) The mum was cured of her bug but became overweight. makes you wonder if we know the whole obesity story, maybe lots still to uncover That's interesting as I was just watching a show about this but they were trying to get the correct microbes from naturally slim people and they had done some studies on twins and mice and things to find out about it. If the fecal transplant becomes a mainstream thing the marketing guys will have a field day coming up with a name for it ! Tee hee

I like that the show has different experts for both the physical and mental aspects of weightloss. Exactly, many issues with being overweight start in the mind. It was very interesting. I am over 50 and am still learning every day, every year about weight gain, weight loss, mind games relating to food and mentality! It's a minefield out there!! Haha x

I wonder when obesity/overweight will no longer exist ? I'm sure it will happen but I'd love to know how it will cease to burden us.
Looking out the window at the rain which has barely stopped for days now. I wonder what new visitors to this country will think. It's bound to have an impact on their experience this week

Looking out the window at the rain which has barely stopped for days now. I wonder what new visitors to this country will think. It's bound to have an impact on their experience this week I hope they will one day develop some sort of a treatment for obesity. Of course there are several causes, but I feel an appetite suppressant, which stopped you feeling hungry after a sensible amount of food would be a big help. If they could develop something like that with no side effects it would really help. You would still have the comfort eating issue but if you don't have an appetite you often don't eat for comfort. For example when I hurt my back I would have expected to want to comfort eat as I was unhappy and bored, but the strong painkillers I was on affected my appetite and I lost a stone in weight. Well it is sunny here but I have put the washing out again so I am expecting a shower just after I leave for work.

Its sunny where you are LP-remind me-what's that like ? Interesting you lost weight when you were on painkillers, same thing happened to me when I had a two month bout of sciatica. It was so painful I didn't fancy food and lost a stone. For me, and I think its safe to say the same for most of us, we eat due to genuine belly hunger and even when not at all hungry reach for the 'crave relief' food Have a good day LP

Morning Rosie and everyone. It's raining here as I decided to change my sheets lol. I am convinced the weather is affected by my laundry haha. Off to give my dog a little walk before I go to work. It's Burgers and gingerbread men today so the kids should enjoy that. Hope you all have a nice day x

Oh no! Hope you are okay? Did anyone help you? Usually in cases like that, I prefer no-one to have witnessed it, then I can pretend it didn't really happen! It has rained here all day too.. Bah!!! X

X Paul was with me - dog tried to help me up but made things worse until Paul got her off me . Hand is still sore and I was definitely shaken up. Think I have jarred my body as I am aching all over today!
Still got rain here although a few blue patches of sky

Hope the pain eases soon Carol. Always the next day or day after before the aches start isn't it? Take care
Rain cleared here and now we have sunshine! I even managed to hang out washing! Most of it was granddaughter's outfits. How can a 4 month old have so much laundry!!! Haha x
