So I lost a lot 2 years ago on exante got to happy weight then over the last 2 years put on a stone and a half. Was fooling myself until someone I work with said I looked fuller around the hips. Hopped on scales and was mortified by what I saw. So I started 3 weeks ago..no vcld just eating well. No fatty foods and cutting out bread. I lost 5 pounds in the first week, 4 pounds in the second and nothing this past week...very depressing. Thinking positive and last night resisted pizza cos was feeling crappy about the stall and had an apple instead. Healthy living is hard work, but I have to keep plodding and resisting the food pushers in my life. My darling husband mainly. He is aware though. I will carry on until at least Christmas and see how I go. I hope this frustrating stall ends ASAP

It is drudgery, staying healthy. Be so much fun if we could eat our body weight in maltesers and still be slim! Good luck on your journey and hope the stall ends shortly

Hello Hun, I think that you have already made some great achievements, resisting food can be incredibly difficult especially when you are feeling crappy. Keep plodding on Hun! Lucy xx

Thank you both for your responses. It gave me a little boost so very much appreciated. Writing my post helped me realise that I need to look at this situation as glass half full. 9lbs in 3 weeks is nearly half the weight I want off. Hope your weight loss journeys r going well. I can't even bear to think about that many malteasers, may be the end of this diet altogether if I did ?

So Monday is weigh day and I managed 1.8lbs. Stall is over! Nearly but a loss is a loss. Yippee. Means in total I have shifted 10.8lbs in 1 month. Onwards and downwards hopefully.

I was told last night that often week 3 is a stall week on VLCDs... Glad you broke yours though and the scales are going the right way!

Yes, I was relieved to hear it. I'm just into week 3 and have been stuck at the same weight for the last 5/6 days now. I was getting so frustrated I was considering quitting!
