My plan is to enjoy cooking for others and just remember why I'm not eating the same things this year. I love cooking and I'm doing several very large meals for big groups of people.

I do hope to lose just another pound or two so I can fit into my lovely dresses when I go on my cruise which is on the 21st December.

Oh I love cruising! Where are you going? Who are you going with? My last cruise was on the QM2, but was only a short one sadly as my children are young and can't be left for too long. Good luck dietninja with the weaning (that sounds so strange!).

So, my plan is to do the best I can for the next week - I've got at lest one, probably 2 nights out, one of which is a cheese fondue night. Then on Sunday I do the 14 her drive back to the uk, which means food on the go, usually not overly great. 3 days in a hotel with all meals out, and then 10 nights in self-catering, but with many many guests, plus several meals out. No chance at all of staying on plan, although I d o intentd to get to the gym as often as I can during this time.
Anyway will be weight-gain carnage for sure!
