Hi all and thanks for reading my post.
I am new to VLCD/exante, my first week went well (day 1-3 the hardest) but I stuck with it and lost 8lbs!
However week 2 isn't going so well, I started the week with a really bad migraine, which lasted for 3 days, I have period, which is unusual for me due to my contraception, Ive have had constipation and now have awful diarrhoea!? (Sorry if too much info) Now on day 11, (feeling rubbish) I have tested my urine and I have no ketones?? Should I have by now?
I have stuck to the total plan with 3 products each day, with 2+litres of water and a couple of Coke Zero and black coffees per day. Despite all this I have stayed determined and not cheated as I really want this to work as I am serial dieter which has led to me binging, so I hoped removing all food from my diet would give me back the control, which it has.
Is this normal in the first few weeks and will I be loosing weight even tho I'm not in ketosis?
I really want this to work, please tell me it gets better! Thanks in advance xx

Thanks in advance xx Hi Bigju keep at it for a while until your body gets used to all the change, some of the choc bars affected me in this way at first, keep drinking water, I bet you are in ketosis, dont worry about the test. If you are on the 2nd week and are only having 3 packs a day I cant believe anyone would not be in ketosis. The first two weeks are the worst, for reactions but the best for weight loss. Good luck well done for being so committed, try to vary the three packs, I find it helps if I have one shake one bar and one that turns into food. It does get better

I felt bad on week 2. It is worth continuing esp if you have got rid of the headache and are feeling better. Take things really easy. Make sure you are drinking at least 2.5l of water a day and maybe get some psyllium husks for extra fibre if you want.

Just keep going, the weight will be coming off and it doesn't matter if the sticks show positive or not, if you're sticking to your 3 packs and not hungry then it's all good.
