So I guess I thought I would use this to keep me motivated and I noticed someone else was doing it and it seemed like a good idea I am now on day 5, as everyone told me the first 2 days were hard but from day 3 I really started to notice a difference. I am not anywhere near as hungry and I seem to have more energy. My skin is also looking clearer which is never a bad thing. I have been 100% with the diet for the past 5 days and I'm not sure whether it is just because my head is really in it this time but I have found it relatively easy. Don't get me wrong I would absolutely love to sit and stuff 4 chocolate bars in my mouth but that would mean I would have to go back to day one again and I am determined to not go back there. I have got a date on Saturday night which means I will be eating out, I will try and make sensible choices but I feel as long as I am dedicated to all the other days 100% that one meal out wont make that much of a difference. If anyone else has recently started please let me know how you are finding it, I have found that this forum has been great to keep me on track and motivated, I enjoy reading about other people's journeys and I have also had good tips from other members. Weigh in day is Monday so I am hoping for a good loss for week 1 I have already weighed this morning (couldn't resist ) 5lbs down so far

Hi shiningstar
I've just finished my fourth week, so am fairly new to all this too and have just finished my low calorie (or food week) of total solution. Which plan are you following? Like you, the first couple of days were a bit tricky but I was buoyed by determination and then, yes it settled down as what I assume was ketosis kicked in and I lost any hunger pangs and they've not really returned. Your posts certainly sound like mine with your determination to succeed this time. In a weird way, I am actually really enjoying this diet and I think embracing it is half the battle.
I hope you enjoy your date - is it a first date? Excuse the nosiness and don't feel obliged to answer! And I hope Monday shows good numbers on the scale!

I hope you enjoy your date - is it a first date? Excuse the nosiness and don't feel obliged to answer! And I hope Monday shows good numbers on the scale! Heyyyyyy. 4 weeks on TS!! It must feel amazing to have achieved that. I am following the same plan, this is day 6 for me and again today has been great, I've stuck to it 100 percent. Well we have had a few dates so I suggested we just watch a film from here and chill rather than go out for food, I feel like because it's week one I don't really want to break out of the plan just yet. Again today has been really good, I had a bar for breakfast because I was out and about, shake for lunch and I've just had sweet and sour. I'm not fussy at all when it comes to tastes so I tend to like the majority of food in the diet. I just can't get over how easy I'm finding it, and it's the not feeling hungry that is the most amazing part. I mean I still need will power not to crack and eat chocolate but I'm not tempted, I just want to keep going with this and hopefully I can reach week 4 just as you have Hope Monday will give me even more motivation to keep going. I will let you know how it goes!

Cannot believe it is day 7, I just cannot believe I have stuck to it. But I have got to admit the past few days I have really enjoyed this diet. This morning I have tried the maple syrup pancakes for the first time and I thought they were yummy. I'm not fussy anyway so will probably like most things. My weigh in day is tomorrow but I couldn't resist this morning having a peek and I am another 2 pound down ) so happy with that. 7 pound off so far. I know it's my first week so I expected a big loss but those 7 pounds give me the motivation to keep going. Taking it a day at a time )) Xx

Sounds like you're doing brilliantly! Go for it!!
The film date idea was really good. I find my social occasions revolve around food so being able to switch focus is great - it almost takes the stress out of it.
I like most of the products too. The only ones I haven't got on with are the raspberry and white chocolate bar and, surprisingly, the chocolate shake. I've enjoyed everything else and there are a few products I would consider keeping in my cupboard post Exante like the coconut shake, chocolate min and chocolate orange shakes too and the strawberry jam bar. I want to try some of the Christmas products. The chocolate and ginger shake sounds lovely.
Good luck for proper weigh-in tomorrow. Not that luck has anything to do with it!

Day 9 - I know I keep saying it but I still can't believe I have reached this day and I am enjoying it so much. I weighed this morning again and I have lost another 2 pounds! So that is 9 in total I had a bar for breakfast this morning with a cup of coffee and I have got a soup for lunch. I have been taking it a day at a time and that really seems to be helping me mentally and because I don't feel hungry I am not tempted to binge on anything. Feeling positive again Xx

Hi shiningstar. Well done on your fab week1 loss. I am starting day 3 today and staying positive. I would really like to be slimmer for xmas when we visit the in laws so that is keeping me focused. I look forward to following your journey I found from Day 3 I really started to enjoy it, it became easier and I didn't feel hungry. Now that I have reached day 10 no part of me is tempted to give in and break it as I am definitely not going back to day 1 again. I am really determined this time, I am going home for Christmas so that is also helping keep me motivated. I already feel so much better with 9lbs off so I can only imagine what it will be like to reach my goal. I am taking it a day at a time though and I'm sure there will be tough days and weeks. This forum is good also to help keep me motivated, and its nice to know others are going through the same thing. I would love to hear how you are getting on over the next few days and weeks so keep me updated anything to help with motivation xx
