Blubex gave me the idea of using food already in cupboard before going shopping. I have loads of tins that I seem to add to every week. Have made a list.
Yesterday I sorted out nearly all of the garden shed. Bliss I can walk into it, well most of it. Still a bit to do.

I'm doing that this week too, only going to buy essentials. Tomorrows task is to go through some bags I put in the spare bedroom of random stuff we got a Xmas and work out where they go or what needs to be done with them. One task a day until we love should be fine

I need to sort under my stairs too. First though - tomorrow - again - sort the cupboard with all the containers that I use to store foodstuff and use for freezing extra portions for the freezer. Need to put the lids with the bases ! Don`t reckon I will be throwing any away though. I do hope when I do under the stairs I will both throw things away and find stuff I have lost.

Apart from the fact that I think I have containers without lids, and lids without containers. The lids will get whizzed and the lidless containers are being donated to my sister in laws playgroup.

If I have any without lids I will pop to our local playgroup and see if they would like them. Good idea

I used to have to biggest pile of tupperware....it really wound my ex up as I would keep all the take away containers!!!! I have got it down to a more sensible number now but it's still more than I use! When I've moved I'm going to get back into batch cooking and freezing for lunches ☺

I took all my plastic pots tuppaware out of the kitchen and only put back in anything with a top and was a sensible size. Much more usable now and the rest went, felt much better for it x

I've always wondered where all the lids go? It's infuriating!

Reading this thread has made me realise what a hoarder I am really. Don't get me wrong, I'm not so bad that I can't see my floors but it's more like I will just keep hold of stuff for years on end. For example, about 7(!!!) years ago I bought a job lot of stuff with a view of selling it at car boots to make a bit of extra money. I had 2 house moves before I even got round to doing a car boot which was hugely unsuccessful and resulted in me then storing it for almost another year when I finally got round to listing it as a job lot and sold it on. Think I just about broke even on that after all those years. Madness!

I am a terrible hoarder too lol
Had a good week on this a couple of jumpers and tops, 1 pair sandal, 1 pair shoes, a load of unused toiletries from xmas sets, christmas cards/paper, some paperback books have all gone in the bin. Also recycled some magazines kept "just in case" I might read them again.
Still not got to the utensil drawer though lol
