I've decided to give Exante a try and have just ordered the shakes and bars bumper pack. I will be trying to make a note of the ones I prefer so that I be more choosy about any subsequent orders if necessary. Am starting with Exante tomorrow (excellent delivery, ordered at 8.58pm yesterday, received at 9.15am today!)
Just interested to know what are your favourites....

Welcome I'm doing the same. Here are my reviews so far... Choc mint shake - yum! Loved it, will be really nice warm. White chocolate and raspberry - It was really nice, the raspberry was quite subtle Sweet and sour noodles - yuk! Far too sweet. Mousakka - not much texture but I really good flavour Pizza - nowhere near as good as the real thing but for a vlcd, pretty good Peanut butter bar - really nice, slightly gooey middle but not very peanuty Double choc bar - I really liked it to start but it got a bit artificial tasting half way through, same slightly gooey middle White chocolate and raspberry bar - Yuck. Yuck, yuck, yuck. Artificial tasting and very raspberry flavoured.

So far from best to just passable: toffee and raisin bar, Thai chicken soup, chocolate and orange bar, pasta, ham and mushroom soup, breakfast eggs
Would not order again ( not in order): porrage, hot cross bun bar, Indian curry, raspberry and White chocolate bar, chocolate pudding, blueberry shake, sweet and sour noodles, jam bar.
Good luck!

I like the vegetable soup (tastes like cup-a-soup) and the chicken soup. Not a fan of the tomato or pasta and ham soups. The porridge is not good - weirdly salty. I haven't been impressed with most of the meals (although I liked the Indian curry) and the breakfast eggs made me heave. The shakes are pretty good apart from the coconut one and the raspberry and lemon one. Most of the bars have been nice but they make your jaws ache with chewing!

Oh I've tried the curry too, I really like it! Not sure you can really put the word rice in there but with some slim rice to bulk it out it would be even better.

Ok so day 1 of Exante and here's what I thought of the products:
Double choc bar - Had to nibble and have bits at a time. Quite sweet and very 'diet bar like' - won't order any of these in future
Choc orange bar - Just about bearable
Strawberry shake - after reading different advice I made this with 200ml water and some ice cube and blitzed in the blender - drinkable but will take a lot of getting used to
Why can't diet products taste of real milk chocolate or a mcdonald's milkshake? - this dieting lark is tough!

Good luck with getting going. If it helps, I look on the packs purely as fuel. Not something that is tasty or to be enjoyed, just something toget got down to keep me alive. Works for me anyway :-)

Day 2 review
Banana shake - not bad, although a little medicinal tasting
Chocolate shake - ok, perhaps my favourite out of everything so far
Toffee shake - okish, but did taste quite synthetic

They've recently changed the formulation of the banana shake (the packs used to be rectangular and now they're squarer). It used to be lovely, not too sweet and not chemical tasting at all. Now it's horrible - I threw it down the sink. I've complained to Exante about it and they're "investigating", whatever that means. It used to be my favourite. My new favourite is vanilla cereal - they'd better not mess with the formulation of that one!

Vanilla shake - possibly just replaced chocolate as my favourite - actually quite nice!
Lemon bar - not too bad - edible!
Toffee nut & raisin bar - not great
Raspberry & white chocolate bar - absolutely awful!

I think the toffee nut and raisin bar is one of my favourites, and the raspberry and white chocolate one too! Just shows how different we all are.

My favourites are, Porridge, Shepherds Pie, Sweet & Sour Noodles & most of the bars but my favourite is the choc orange S&S bar. The pots are quite handy but a bit bland. Dislike all of the beef flavour & curry packs though & can't drink the milk shakes, ended up giving them away! x

Nowt as queer as folk as they say, funny how we have different tastes. I've enjoyed the shakes generally although there are a few flavours I haven't tried yet. Whenever I'm hungry I always choose a flavour I like as I think I'd feel deprived if I had to suffer a horrible one. Think I'll save all the bars as a last resort when making up a shake isn't convenient.

So far my favourites have been the curry and rice pack and the salted caramel pudding. I could happily live off these packs.

Just had my first shake of the day and followed a tip from fellow Exanters to add some coffee granules to a vanilla shake - was yummy, and I'm not normally one to go for iced coffee type drinks. Made a change. Never thought I'd say this but I do actually like the shakes, especially with loads of crushed ice. It's so nice not having to think about what to cook.
