Hello! Just popping in to say hi and welcome you. I'm the moderator for the VLCD boards and have done CWP myself back in 2012. It worked for me and I have maintained my weight - give or take half a stone - ever since. I'm currently at the top end of my BMI so doing a short stint of Exante which is very similar.
How long have you been on it for?

Hi Greta, not sure if you are asking me?! I've been doing SS+ since 16th Feb. I have had great losses which I think is why I've managed to stick to it so long (I usually give up on a diet after 2 weeks, and this isn't my first stint on cambridge!) I'm familiar with your posts and I think it's great you are a moderator on here! I'm not much of a poster, more of a reader. I just pipe up now and again!

Hello Cambridge peeps!
I considered posting my diary here but it didn't seem right (1) on the main part of the Cambridge forum and (2) because I haven't been doing Cambridge but Exante instead. So I put it in the member diary section.
Do we need sub forums here? I guess we probably need some stickies - a guide to the plan, FAQs, etc. And maybe a "please don't mention real food" sub forum?

Hello!
Fellow cambridger here! Not sure how busy it'll get, even on mini's the cambridge forum was getting quiet, all the alternative VLCD have def split the market! I, though, cannot give up my tetra's so I stick with CD.

Yes definitely! I wasn't sure whether it was 'correct etiquette' to copy and paste those threads over from Minis, what do you think?

I think it'd be absolutely fine and the simplest way to do it would be to lift the existing info over to here

Hi Sarah .. That's quite some commitment to still be going since February! Have you got much more that you want to lose? I think I managed 7 weeks in total on CWP and that saw me to target. I found it tricky at times and towards the end was definitely suffering from meal replacement fatigue. The results are well worth it though aren't they?

I found it tricky at times and towards the end was definitely suffering from meal replacement fatigue. The results are well worth it though aren't they? To get towards a healthy BMI I need to lose another 3 stone so we shall see. To be honest, I've no idea how I've done it. I just did. Guess being fat finally got too much for me! I think because I've been having the meal in the evening that has really worked for me - and I've kept it simple (just chicken / tuna / cottage cheese that sort of stuff). I kept expecting to fail at some point. I'm on holiday next week and I have every intention of eating and enjoying myself - but I feel like I won't be able to go silly. Well I say that now - might need reminding of that in a week! But I am going to take my running stuff with me. I've always read your maintenance diaries with interest - it's hard to think about that stuff at the beginning but now I think I need to start thinking about how I'm going to manage food for every meal. And I must get my head around the fact that bacon sandwiches are a no go.

And yes - the results are worth it. I feel absolutely fantastic. Never imagined I would feel like this!

Wow well done!
I do think that maintenance is harder than losing it but obviously I didn't feel like that at the time! I now try not to take my eye off the ball too much and bring myself back in line if I put on a bit. It's easier to get back to target if you're within a stone of it and bloody awful if you've gone mad and suddenly find yourself with 4 stone back on.
