Good luck. Not sure how I'm going to manage the lack of alcohol once I get started, will be odd to have a weekend without... Thanks kittybling! Here's a tip about the no alcohol - I sip fizzy water from a wine glass to kid myself I am having some fizzy! I know I am trying to kid myself at first but then after a while I forget and just keep picking up the wine glass! Good for getting the water down too! Adding 2 sweetners per 500lm sparkling water makes it palatable Also the summer fruits??? I think that's the one... Exante drinks mix added to the sparkling water and sweetners kept in the fridge is carb free goodness Ps be careful adding the drinks mix to sparkling water.... Fizz central.... Add a teeny bit at a time

I hear you Kittybling. I am on day 2 Lipotrim TFR and really missing my glass of wine in the evening. But what would we rather have? A glass of wine or the next smaller size? No brainer. Let's keep choosing the long view over the short one. Good luck!! Hi Pandora how are you doing so far on day 2?
You're right its a no-brainer and I have been looking at the Exante site at the drinks flavours as recommended by curve and am going to order the elderflower and white wine flavour for my Friday night pretend glass of wine hopefully it will be a nice substitute to a glass of the real stuff!

So I am on day 22 so far and going ok except I am a bit miffed with my chemist. I went in for weigh in yesterday and to get more packs and they only had Strawberry left which I can't stand. Last week they were running out of vanilla so were going to put an order in and I asked for 2 peanut flapjacks as well - I know they aren't great but they are handy for when I am out and about at the weekend. Anyway so I go in this week and the order hasn't been done!
Aaarrrghgghhhh.
So I end up with the mens packs that I have to split into 2 which isn't ideal as it's fiddly and I usually spill some and boy that powder sticks to the side like glue it's hard to clean up goodness knows what's in it and how it behaves when it's in my tummy yikes! So yeah I am miffed with the chemist. Bit of a poor show

Thanks for the info pandora, I haven't checked the website out yet but I will tomorrow. I was giving the chemist a chance to ring me as it was yesterday and they have my number to ring about the order. Anyway, no phone call yet.
The 100% is going fine and dandy, aside from splitting the menus packs for shakes. I think they taste different, slightly creamier. Yikes I wonder what the calorie content is it might be higher than the women even though I am only having half. Now I am filled with dread...
Just checked works out the same calorie content. I suppose if that's what the chemist said to do then it must be ok. Just that they aren't exactly on the button.
Yes, so today been pretty unexciting, had 3 packs, no hunger or cravings and I drank 3 litres. 2 of green tea and 1 litre a mix of good ole tap water and fizzy stuff. Talking of water I had a look at those Exante flavourings today, I think I am going to get me an Elderflower and White Wine flavour for Saturday night. Oh yeah baby.
Right so I am off to post in the positive things today forum.
Onwards and downwards (hopefully downwards, am going to weigh tomorrow).

Yes yes Elderflower and Wine day. Except it didn't arrive. Gutted. But then there is always tomorrows post. I read about how Exante were really quick delivery but I ordered it on Wednesday and now it's Friday...I didn't pay extra delivery costs for 'quicker than you can turn round service' but still. Am I being impatient? I wants it.
Aside from the drink flavouring trauma, all is good. I keep having meat cravings which is weird as when I eat I eat plants only. Can't figure that one out and I am going to ignore it because I am not eating so that's all that matters.
I do feel like I should exercise but I have read lots over the past about how you shouldn't on a VLCD because the calorie intake is so low. So I am thinking about doing some weights with kettlebells. Only gently of course, nothing drastic. Not for calorie burning, for toning and building muscle. I would like to build muscles as muscles burn more calories that, when I go into maintenance will be cool.
Eek it's just past 11pm on a Friday night. Time for sleeps.

ohh dear another day back at work boo hoo. 100% LT is still ongoing and finding things ok. The chemist came up with the goods for my order so I had to flash out Friday afternoon and pick them up so I can stop splitting those mens packs and all the faff that comes with it that I monaed about in a previous post.
I had 2 flapjacks over the weekend, a peanut and a coconut one. They aren't great and need a tonne of water to get down but they are just about palatable and handy for when I am out and about. The peanut was a tiny bit better than the coconut so it'll be peanut flavour in future for me.
The water flavouring arrived on Saturday but I haven't had chance to give it a try yet with being busy Saturday night and the boyfriend returning home and wanting a roast dinner for his first meal back home yesterday - which I did easily with no finger dabbing nor any munching on the lovely unmentionables.
I have been a bugger for getting on the scales and each morning when I climb onto them I am disappointed as they are not moving. I have decided I need to stop weighing everyday as it puts my on a downer when they don't show a loss, but then when I have a loss I feel sooooo good. I need to stop and weigh only once a week. My usual weigh in day is Tuesday so I am going to weigh tomorrow and then not until next Tuesday. In the lyrics of a famous song '..it's a hard habit to break...'

My usual weigh in day is Tuesday so I am going to weigh tomorrow and then not until next Tuesday. In the lyrics of a famous song '..it's a hard habit to break...' Janeg--okay, let's do this together, after tomorrow no peeking at the scale until our next weigh in. Hehe--that gives me one more day to peek. So hup, no scale peeking between weeks after tomorrow! We'll keep those scales moving, in our heads anyway, until our bodies and scales catch up. PS--I lost my diary temporarily--it got moved to another section at my request, but I don't have access to that section yet. So that will keep me from posting too much! But I'd left a message for you there before it got moved. I think it must be in the gold section now. Yeah I am up for buddying up on not weighing everyday. I weighed this morning and was 1\2 lb up from my weigh in the day before yday. It flummoxed me how that is possible so I just put it down to water retention.
The next time I weigh will be Friday. That's because I picked up my packs last Friday and had to weigh to get them. Then it will be once a week only.
I will have been a LTrimmer for 1 month tomorrow. Got to nail this.
pandora, I have subscribed to your diary and have seen your last post-but not where you had a reply to me? If you move to silver/gold diaries I can't see them as I think I am a bronze. I am not a prolific poster as I just don't have the spaces in my day to pop in and out. Really very good vibes to you to keep the LT faith ?

Does Exante work on the ketosis principle like LT?

Yes, Janeg, just the same. 3 or 4 packs a day. Day 2 today. Harder than day 1 but manageable so far.

I try to take one day at a time sometimes when I am feeling like it's a slog. Other times I can plan for the future. Yesterday was a one day at a time day, I had alot of cravings and disillusionment yday because of the 1/2 lb gain on the scales, so future gazing was not the best way for me yday.
I did it though. 100% woo hoo.
